What Makes Us Different

Independent ownership means more choice and impartial advice

Our clinic is independently and locally owned by our Audiologist, Philippa Long.  Philippa believes in helping people to make informed choices about their hearing loss and any treatment required.  For this reason, West Coast Audiology is not aligned with any one hearing device supplier.

This makes us different from many hearing clinics that are owned by hearing aid suppliers.  Our independence allows us to offer our clients impartial advice and a full choice of hearing aid brands.

Customer service comes first

We know that everyone's hearing needs are unique and our mission is to treat every client as an individual.  Our Audiologists are dedicated to providing personalised service with care, integrity and attention to detail.  For this reason you will find that our appointments are generally longer than that of other hearing care providers.

We value the time and effort our clients put in to attend their hearing appointments.  Our convenient clinic location offers easy parking and access and every effort is made to minimise waiting times.  Our Audiologists visit our local retirement villages every month.

We have been grateful to receive much positive feedback on our service from our existing clients.

Commitment to ongoing professional development

Audiologists are University Graduates with extensive specialist training at postgraduate level in the non-medical management of hearing disorders.  Our Audiologists undertake ongoing education and training in the latest technologies, assessment methods and hearing aid programming techniques.

Our owner and Audiologist, Philippa Long, has a postgraduate degree from Melbourne University. Graduating in 1995, Philippa has had experience working in various settings including hospitals, government departments and private hearing clinics across Australia.
